Fixate is a frenetic drift from fascination to obsession.

The performance explores the gaze as an embodiment of love that becomes corrupted—turning into an objectifying and dehumanizing gesture.
The eye’s movements translate into chaotic, distorted pulsations, tracing a path through shifting perspectives.

The unpredictable interplay of sound and image mirrors the resonance between observer and observed.

pliq is an audiovisual duo formed by Jean-Philippe Jullin and Alexandre Sasset-Blouin.

Their practice explores the relationships between sound and image through retroactive systems where each medium acts on the other, altering and transforming it. Inspired by systemic thinking, they design environments where media mutually shape each other in a dialogue in perpetual motion, between control and drift.
